The Palm Beach "Coffee" Story

Espresso Italia coffee capsules contain Gimoka espresso - THE
premier Italian espresso. The espresso is made with a five Arabica bean blend from Honduras, Ecuador, Guatemala, Brazil and Columbia.

Arabica beans are the beans of choice in "specialty" or "gourmet coffees" because they are distinctly milder and more aromatic than Robusta beans. Arabica beans produce the rich flavor and body most desired by Baristas and espresso drinkers everywhere.

Most large coffee companies use predominately Robusta coffee beans which are less expensive, more easily grown, require less hand cultivation and are grown at lower elevations.  That is why Robusta bean espresso has a sharper and more bitter taste than Espresso Italia's Arabica bean espresso.

After the Espresso Italia beans are roasted in Milan, Italy, they are processed and packaged in individual serving capsules (five per vacuum sealed sleeve) in Andalo Valtellino near the Alps mountain range in Northern Italy.

It is this perfect combination of Gimoka Arabica beans, precise roasting and quality processing and packaging that produces the consistent, outstanding qualities of aroma, flavor, crema and convenience that are unique to Espresso Italia.

Palm Beach Specialty Coffee offers three Espresso Italia coffees:

  • Regular
  • Dark (a slightly more robust flavor)
  • Decaffeinated regular (SWISS WATER Process)
